Choir Starts Summer Break on High Note

Published on July 20, 2016,

Winchester Community Choir has started its summer break on a high note. Following on from the success of its debut performances at Romsey Beggars Fair on 9th July (see photo), the summer concert “Songs and Strings” with guest Susanna Starling on 12th July was very well received, and raised a total of £1000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The choir has also made excellent progress with the making of its first CD, recording a total of 6 songs on Saturday 16th July. We return to our regular schedule of rehearsals in September. If you are interested in joining the choir, click on the “Apply to join” link at the top of the page.
