The choir has donated £200 to the CAFOD Cyclone Idai Appeal, to help victims of the floods in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Malawi. It has been described as one of the worst natural disasters in living memory. The choir’s Christmas Concert raised a total of £1920 for charity through ticket sales and generous donations. This will be split equally between Winchester Basics Bank and Friends of Osborne School.

A concert on 18th November featuring songs, stories, and poems about the First World War will feature Stan Graham, Carolyn Robson & Moira Craig, Iris Bishop, and Martin Wyndham-Read. It’s not local to Winchester, but choir members may be interested in organising car shares amongst themselves to attend this event.

The choir’s summer concert, Daughters Of The Nation, raised a total of £1045 for Winchester based counselling service The Olive Branch. The charity exists to relieve people resident in Winchester and the surrounding area who are suffering from emotional or mental stress.
