The Christmas Concert on 6th December raised a staggering £1700 for charity, which will be split equally between Key Changes (music therapy) and the Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Service. The programme of songs and readings was very well received, with some commenting that it was our best concert to date.
Over the Christmas period the choir will be singing in some local care homes, and appearing at the Wooly Hat Fair on Saturday 17th December. We will be representing the 9th Day of Christmas (9 Ladies Dancing) from 5pm at the Colour Factory, Gordon Road, Winchester SO23 7DD.
We return to rehearsals on 3rd January, in preparation for the final recording session for our CD later that month. Watch this space for news of when our CD is available and how to buy it.
