Winchester Sings Together for Mayor’s Charities

Winchester Community Choir will be one of a number of choirs singing together on the afternoon of Sunday 11th February to raise money for the Mayor’s Charities.  The event will run from 2pm to 6:30pm at Winchester Guildhall, and tickets are £5 for adults, available from the Guildhall reception. World Premiere for Winchester City Festival Choir

Winchester City Festival Choir will perform the world premiere of David Briggs “God’s Grandeur” later this month. The concert also features two pieces by Leonard Bernstein, one orchestral and the other choral, in this his centenary year. Concert Raises £1800 for Charity

The choir’s Christmas concert raised a total of £1800 for charity, which will be split equally between Read Easy supporting adults learning to read, and Southampton and Winchester Visitors Group improving the lives of asylum seekers.
